What is Office Manager?

Office Manager is an online workflow management tool for Virtual Assistants, Transcription Companies and Legal Firms with a number of secretaries and/or offices.

Office Manager streamlines your work processes, enabling you to manage your workload in a productive and cost-effective way from any PC or mobile device.

Who uses Office Manager?

Office Manager was created to improve performance levels of Virtual Assistants, Transcription Companies and the secretarial/transcription function within professional organisations. However, its functionality and scalability lend itself to any small business which provides ongoing services to a number of clients.

What is the difference between the products?
  • Office Manager Base – For Virtual Assistants, single user; up to 10 clients and 1 Gb storage
  • Office Manager Solo – For Virtual Assistants, single user, customisable if requested (with your own logo), unlimited clients and unlimited storage
  • Office Manager Plus – For Transcription Companies, unlimited users, clients and storage, customisable if requested
  • Office Manager Pro – For Legal firms and other professional organisations, unlimited users, fee earners and storage, customisable if requested

'Customisable' means the system is accessed via your own website, rather than the Office Manager one, and contains your logo and corporate colours.

What hardware and software do I need?

All you need is a laptop or desktop computer, an Internet connection and a web browser. No software is installed directly on your computer.

How much storage space can I use?

For Solo, Plus and Pro storage space is unlimited; for Base you have 1 Gb of storage.

What file formats can be uploaded/stored?

Most file formats can be uploaded and stored on Office Manager; multiple files can also be compressed or "zipped" and uploaded together.

How secure is Office Manager?

We take all reasonable precautions to ensure the security and availability of data that we host. We use a highly regarded hosting partner with state-of-the-art facilities to guarantee physical system security. We also employ numerous software tools and processes to check and secure customer data.

The system is hosted at a fully managed and secure hosting facility in London at a dedicated data centre operated by Virtual Internet.

What support is available?

Ongoing support is available for all account holders; we aim to respond to all email and telephone support requests within 2 hours between Monday and Friday 9 am to 5 pm, and outside these hours by arrangement.

I’ve forgotten my username and password – what do I do?

Click on the 'Forgotten Password' option on the login screen. You be asked for your email address so we can identify you. Your password reminder will then be emailed to that email address.

What does the free trial consist of?

During your free trial you will be able to access all the features of Office Manager via the login on our home page.

How do I sign up for Office Manager?

Complete the form on the Free Trial page and we will notify you of your login details within 4 working hours.

How do I pay?

You pay on a month-by-month basis and can cancel at any time. Once your free trial period is over, we will take payments on a monthly basis, in advance, using the credit or debit card details you provide to us, until your account is closed.

Are there any set up fees?

There is no set up fee for Base. For Solo, Pro or Plus, if you choose the customisable option, there is a one-off cost of £29.95 (Solo) and £99.95 (Pro and Plus).

Who has access to information about me and my clients and/or users?

Webscription uses your information for internal purposes only, i.e. to process orders and payments and update accounts, it does not sell information about clients to third parties. Please refer to our privacy policy.

Who has access to my account?

Your account is set up to provide you with the most flexibility possible and gives you complete control over who accesses your account. As account holder, you can add users and clients and specify the permissions for each of them, so that you can control access to particular activities and files.
